These repair plates are specifically designed to fix damaged side bumper tabs for the 2012-2017 9th Gen Honda Accord front bumper. The plates are made of stainless steel and include a bent tab, providing additional support by attaching to the side of the bumper.
To install, simply sand down & clean surfaces on the damaged bumper tabs and the repair plates. Then simply glue the plates in place. Apply evenly spread pressure with clamps whilst it’s drying.
This sanding process is important to make the plastic tabs slightly thinner to counteract the added thickness of the repair plates.
Recommended adhesive: JB Weld Plastic Bonder 25mL Black 50139 (sold separately on the website aswell).
It is recommended for maximum strength, that the plates are installed underneath the OEM bumper tabs.
