These repair plates are specifically designed to fix damaged side tab attachment holes for the OEM BRZ / 86 rear bumper. The plates are made of stainless steel and include bent side tabs, providing additional support by attaching to the inside of the bumper.
To install, simply sand down & clean surfaces on the damaged bumper tabs and the repair plates. Then simply glue the plates in place. Apply evenly spread pressure with clamps whilst it’s drying.
It is recommended for maximum strength, that the plates are installed underneath the OEM bumper tabs.
Recommended adhesive: JB Weld Plastic Bonder 25mL Black 50139.
